1. Data we handle
- Account and contact data, including mobile number and masked communications.
- Pickup, delivery, operating-base and custody location data.
- Shipment, package, private declaration, value, handling and proof-of-delivery data.
- Provider identity, KYC, liveness, eligibility, capacity, journey and reliability data.
- Payment status, invoices, refunds and limited provider-issued payment references; DwelG does not store raw card or UPI credentials.
- Device, security, audit, support, voice transcript and application diagnostic data.
2. Why we use it
We use data to authenticate users; evaluate serviceability; plan, confirm and fulfil movements; protect packages and people; process payments and refunds; verify providers; prevent fraud; respond to support and legal requests; comply with tax, safety and regulatory duties; and improve reliable operation. AI may assist conversation transcription and structured-field extraction, but serviceability, routing, price and final alternatives are determined by controlled platform logic unless a future feature is separately disclosed and enabled.
3. Sharing and controlled disclosure
We share the minimum necessary data with the providers, handoff points, professional carriers, verification vendors, payment processors, cloud and communications vendors involved in the requested service. Precise addresses become available to an accepted provider when required for that leg and are removed from ordinary access after handoff. Private contents declarations are not shared unless a legal, safety or handling obligation requires controlled disclosure.
We may disclose information to authorities or other persons when required by law, to protect life or safety, to investigate fraud or to establish or defend legal claims. We do not sell personal data.
4. Location, camera, microphone and identity
GPS is required for verified pickup and delivery pins and may be collected adaptively during active custody. Customers see milestones and ETA, while authorised operations roles can access detailed trails for active work and investigation through audited controls.
Camera access may be used for package evidence, identity checks, liveness, seals and delivery proof. Raw voice audio is intended to be discarded after transcription unless retention is required for a reported incident or the user separately consents.
5. Retention
We retain data only for the service, safety, dispute, fraud-prevention and legal purposes that apply to it. Custody location evidence is ordinarily scheduled for deletion after 90 days unless linked to an incident, dispute or legal hold. Verification records, shipment evidence and support records follow their configured risk and legal schedules. GST books and related records may be retained for at least the statutory period, including 72 months from the relevant annual-return due date where applicable. Data required for an unresolved claim, investigation or proceeding may be retained longer.
Account deletion removes or de-identifies data not required for an active movement, payment, legal obligation, fraud prevention, safety investigation or defence of claims.
6. Security and international processing
DwelG uses access controls, encryption, audit trails, secret management and role restrictions appropriate to the data. No system is completely risk free. Approved processors may handle data in India or another permitted location subject to contractual and legal safeguards.
7. Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction or deletion, withdraw optional permissions, pause provider location access when not working, and raise a privacy grievance. Start at /account-deletion/ or email support@dwelg.com. Requests are verified to protect the account and may be limited where retention is required by law or remains necessary for an active purpose.
